Listen at Easter: Tomás Luis de Victoria

One of the things making our Easter sweet today was the chance for some family singing–we’re visiting Liebling and Chiquito in Germany, and we have Loquita with us, just back from her LDS mission, so we made a nice little ensemble. We sang until we thought the neighbors might have had enough of us.

With singing on my mind, I decided to put together a bonus post to add some more music to your Easter. Here is a piece by Spanish composer Tomás Luis de Victoria (1548-1611), First Lamentation for Maundy Thursday, performed by the Tallis Scholars.
