Listen at Christmas: Carol of the Bells

Silver bells and snow

I love a cappella music, and Pentatonix hits the spot for me. This recording of Carol of the Bells is from 2012, early in their career. That’s not noticeable from the harmonies and the arrangement, though it’s clear from the “hey everyone” section after the song (I can overlook the fact that the audio track isn’t quite matched up with the video). For me, Carol of the Bells is fun to sing, fun to listen to, just right for an early December “let’s get in the mood for Christmas” song.

Here’s hoping our Christmas preparations support the “throwing of cares away” rather than the “heaping of cares upon us” vibe.
