Art to share: Geoffroy Mottart

It’s high time we considered something beautiful. I’ll look on it as a welcome bonus that the beauty happens to be whimsical.

Geoffroy Mottart is a florist who does amazing arrangements, but I don’t think I would have heard of him* if his artistry had not been displayed in some unusual settings.

From what I can tell, these fleurissements adorned statues around Brussels. The juxtaposition of blossom and stone reminds me of another unusual pairing which you might remember from Interpreting the Bremen bridge cosy  and this bit from Helsinki.
